Our stay for this race trip is at the Hilton Garden Inn which is located adjacent to Old Town Scottsdale.  This area is full of shops, restaurants and saloons.  Join race fans at The Rusty Spur for live music or shop for turquoise jewelry at one of the many gift shops.

Phoenix International Raceway's Fan Hospitality Packages include live entertainment, driver appearances, catered meals & snacks, 4 beverage coupons, games & prizes throughout the day and more.  Cost for Busch Race day is $89.00 per person and for Nextel Cup race day is $139.00 per person.  For a Weekend Pre-race pit pass, add $55.00 per person.

The Phoenix International Raceway is located 25 miles west of Phoenix in the foothills of the Estrella Mountains.  Phoenix International Raceway was built in 1964, but the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series did not run there until 1988.  PIR currently has 2 NASCAR race weekends - the Subway Fresh 500 Night race in April and the Checker Auto Parts 500 in November.  Phoenix International Raceway is a one mile oval with a unique bend in the backstretch.  Action Jackson Sports Tours has added a few days in Las Vegas to our November Checker Auto Parts 500 Race Tour (see Races N Aces Package).  We could easily add nights in Las Vegas or the Grand Canyon to the April Subway Fresh 500 Race Tour - contact us for your customized vacation race tour.  Prepaid airport/hotel transfers can be added to either the Subway Fresh 500 race tour or the Checker Auto Parts 500 race trip.
