The Dickies 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race is the eighth race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup! Since it's inception on November 6, 2005, the Dickies 500 has been held on the first weekend in November at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth Texas. This year on November 2, 2008,  will be the fourth running of this exciting race, The Dickies 500. The Dickies 500 is actually 501 miles and consists of 334 laps of the Texas Motor Speedway. Previous winners of this NASCAR Sprint Cup race were: 2005-Carl Edwards, 2006-Tony Stewart and in 2007-Jimmie Johnson.
